You may be wondering why I recorded a new version of this song, for the original version of 'All is well' was already featured on my debut album 'Into resonance' in 2011. It was only at a later age, when I was 24 (in 2002), that I touched the piano keys for the first time in my life... And from that moment onwards, I was hooked! I learned to play the piano by myself, without scores, just following my inner compass. The composition ‘All is well’, as all of my songs and improvisations, started with a mere handful of notes... Only to grow, step by step, month by month, year by year,... into a mature melody. To be accompanied with my singing voice a while later, as you can hear on 'Into resonance'. Meanwhile 'All is well' has been evolving even further, with new additional piano melodies, more variations in my voice and stronger dynamics. As you'll hear, at moments this new version really features a whole new style of playing and singing. I even introduce strings,... So yes, I'm very excited to share this new music with you! It's funny, I now realize that I've spent 10 years of work, inner growth and joy to now offer you a 10 minute piano piece! As if ten years ago 'All is well' was just a small little seed, which kept growing and growing, until this moment when it has grown into, in my experience, a real tree.
