Kendall is an anointed soloist, director, composer, arranger, and pianist. She comes from a long line of pastors, teachers, and musicians that have tremendously influenced her ministry. Originally from Camden, NJ, she received her musical training at the Settlement Music School, Philadelphia, PA. She started singing at the age of five, and at the age of 12, she started playing for her father's church in Philadelphia, PA. While attending Howard University, Kendall sang with the Howard Gospel Choir and recorded with the choir on the album, "God Can Make a Way." She has been a member of several local groups such as "Toby Palmer and Chosen Generation." She was the choir director and guest soloist with Rev. Jamila Woods for the live recording, "The Balm." She has recorded and arranged background vocals for several artists such as Carmen Calhoun, Lisa Bellamy, Truth Thomas, Aaron Banks. She sings with Phillip Carter and the Sounds of Victory, and is a featured soloist on the project, "Confession."Her original composition, "Be Still," is featured on their latest project "The Journey Continues. She also recorded and performed an original composition, "We Bless Your Name," with HawKings Productions, which was released in April 2004. Kendall has been a musician on the staff of several churches in the Washington metropolitan area and is currently ministering at three area churches. An outstanding choir director in her own right, Kendall often is invited to conduct music workshops, and to teach and direct choirs. She served as the musical director for the A.M.E. Washington Annual Conference Youth Choir, for three years. She was the musical director for a documentary entitled, "Hope of Glory, the African American Church." In this effort, she organized a 100-voice choir, composed and performed the title song, "Hope of Glory," and arranged two of the soundtrack recordings. Kendall has performed with such artists as LaShon Pace, Beverly Crawford, James Bignon, the late O'Landa Draper, and John P. Kee. She has appeared at the Kennedy Center and the Lincoln Theater, Washington, DC; the Showplace Arena, Upper Marlboro, MD; and at the renowned Cotton Club, New York, NY. She has performed the National Anthem for the Washington Wizards, at the MCI Center, Washington, DC.
