D-Fresh is comprised of three (3) brothers that are ages 17, 15 and 14. These young men have been playing music for the past 9 years. They enjoy creating their own instrumentals, but they also enjoy playing gospel music. Their parents, Darryl and Candice Tolbert, started their musical journey when they realized that everyone doesn't make it in sports. So they wanted to give them something that they could keep when sports was over. They took them to the music store and asked them to pick an instrument. Their musical journey started with lessons at West Chester Academy of Music in West Chester, Ohio. Each year, parents enjoyed the three (3) brothers that would play their own creations at recitals. After creating several songs, they decided to actual record them producing their first CD. From that point forward, D-Fresh has been in high demand in the Cincinnati area performing for organizations such as: Duke Energy, University of Cincinnati, The Aronoff Center, St. Ursula, The African American Chamber of Commerce, City of Cincinnati, etc. They also perform in local churches every Friday night and Saturday afternoon. They really want to encourage and motivate young black men that in order to foster their gift, they must "DO MORE BE BETTER!"
