简介
Briscoe and Loose met in Nashville in 2001 and began writing music together. They created a unique sound as they combined their own skills and vision with influences from country, folk and bluegrass artist from the past. Their writing is often metaphorical about lifes difficulties and confrontational regarding relationships. Briscoe/Loose records acoustically feature instruments such as the acoustic guitar, dobro, fiddle, mandoline, etc. Their music features harmonies and is lead by Cari Loose's lead vocals mostly... a feel from upbeat bluegrass sounds to acoustic country sounds great for traveling or just relaxing at home. Check out "Cold Pocket" and "Pair of Hearts" currently getting radio play in South Georgia... for a country and bluegrass sample. They have recorded two original CDs together and look forward to writing their third. They enjoy performing as a duo singing traditional bluegrass as much as they enjoy performing with a full group. When Briscoe and Loose play together, crowds gather round and usually don"t leave till they are done singing. The magic is special and the music is straight forward and down to earth. Before Briscoe and Loose got together, Loose performed with her country group while opening for artist like Allison Krause and Shania Twain, and Briscoe was hanging out in Kentucky before Nashville where he was jamming with John Michael Montgomery, Montgomery/Gentry, and poking around in sports bars singing Jimmy Buffet songs, John Prine, and steven Earl tunes for the college crowd. Loose likes to match harmonies with her two young daughters in different venues as a family band as well in Nashville.
