This compilation contains early work of Jay Buchanan, Michael Miley & Dave Beste of Rival Sons. Along with many other Long Beach talent. All artists on this compilation cd were recorded, mixed, mastered or all of the above at Karma Recording Studio in San Pedro CA by our in house Producer/Chief Engineer "Michael Rich". We are now Karma Studio East in NY. The majority of these artists are located in Long Beach CA, which is the home of some of the most incredible artists you will ever come across. Some of the talent on this comp are unsigned bands or recently signed bands. This cd was composed by Michael Rich here at Karma Studio free of charge to the artists with only one request( To be given credit for his work, thanks and a link on their websites). Karma Studio frequently gives free studio time to very deserving and talented yet truly starving artists. We believe that these artists need to be heard regardless of their budget to be able to record a demo. The proceeds from this compilation will go to helping us to continue this practice in the future. Because it's really all about the music and good karma. **As of March 2004, Karma Studio was forced to close it's doors but Michael Rich continues to produce and engineer in Millbrook NY.
