Welcome back to Dittyville, Carl's old farmhouse in North Carolina. Once again we have piled up the mattresses and soundproofed the walls, dodged the wind and the rain and the tractor-trailers to record ourselves at home. We have dipped into the well of traditional music and gathered up many gems - gospel numbers, duets from the golden age of country music, mountain songs - made them our own and added a few originals. We believe in the power and beauty of tradition and the depth to which it carries and connects us all. We're glad to have you here with us.
