When New York's only jazz station went off the air and so many of the best live venues were becoming clubs, I knew it was time to reinvent myself so that I could continue to live and to sing the music I love. I was very blessed in the early part of my career to work with great musicians and pick from the tree of ripe opportunities. During this time, I was able to introduce many of my own compositions. Thanks to and because of these musicians' unconditional love and support, I was able to realize my greatest dream - to continually touch the soul of humanity. There's nothing more wonderful than knowing why you're here, and for me, it's music, my life saver; it anchors me with love and lets the wonders of the universe unfold!
