We bought this cd awhile ago and somewhat listened to it and put it away. Brought it back out again and REALLY listened to it. Now, we can't put it away. It is absolutely fantastic. A refreshing break from the noise common in todays music. #7 is my FAVORITE. It makes me want to dance and skip around. It can be very difficult when driving in my car. I can't stop moving. In much the way that RIVERDANCE used ancient airs, imaginative cross-pollination of musical genres and sheer imagination to capture the virile, passionate spirit of the Celts, so Matt Ender, with the assistance of some fine soloists ( violinist Charlie Bisharat among others) has payed hommage to the spirit of Celtic music, while allowing his own native sensibilities to take the lilt and snap to other places. (His Danny Boy seems nearly Irish-Carribean.) This is a CD to relax with, to set your imagination spinning, to both soothe and inspire. It's very fine work. [A partial disclaimer.
