The Twin Cities Blues music scene is unique in several ways. The first is the artists attitude of inviting other Blues artists onstage, when they are in the house. The second is the incredible talent in this area, which started in the late 60's on the West bank, near the University of Minnesota. The third is the generosity of these Blues artist to come together and donate their time and their original song for a day of live recordings. Many of these featured artists are also playing on another featured artists song in this compilation. The spirit of generosity comes through on these songs and makes an exciting compilation for the listener. The Minnesota Blues Society has backed both this CD, and the previous CD, which is titled Minnesota Blues Allstars 2012, and has an almost entirely different lineup of artists. These CD's will be an ongong project, featuring entirely different artists each year.
