Lion Hearts! My name is Charles Leon a.k.a. DJ CharLeon and I am a DJ, tenor saxophonist and dance producer from Amsterdam. I started playing music on the streets of Amsterdam with my older brother Marnix Emanuel, so we could earn some extra pocket money for the latest Pokémon cards. Well here it all began... After playing classical piano, pop guitar and clarinet, I fell in love at the age of 11 with the saxophone. For six years I played alto-saxophone and at the age of 17 switched to tenor saxophone. Also around this time I started breaking down the house with my DJ skills (sorry mom....). Now I am DJ'ing and use my saxophone to add live elements to my show. My style can be described as EDM feel good music, that I produce together with my brother Marnix Emanuel. You can now listen to a preview of our debut single “Lion Hearts”.
