Back to my Roots Music, roots and emotions always keeps me alive. It gives me strength and direction in all things I do. This special album means a lot to me. It feeds me and I hope feeds you and create a smile on your face. I sincerely hope that this album gives you a musical touch and insight of my Moluccan roots. My real emotional connection with these songs lies in my roots. When I was a little boy my grandparents & parents always played these songs at home. For me these are Moluccan traditional songs with spirit and warmth that I will always carry with me and now spread it to you and the world. All the composers, singers and musicians who have played these songs experienced it as poetry and art to create a warm atmosphere and bring smiles at the faces of the people in the old Moluccan villages. I hope that this album will give you all these experiences in your heart and mind. I feel very privileged and am proud to put these songs with on my own instrumental way.
