With a heavy throwback to the feel good vibes of the 80's and 90's, "More" is reminiscent of the days when artists like Howard Jones, Hall & Oates, Richard Marx, Fine Young Cannibals, a-ha and UB-40 ruled the charts. After years of playing other peoples' music and dreaming of recording, Sal DiGuardia has finally made the decision to boldly venture out on his own as a solo artist and bring his unique blend of music to the world. Sal was born September 30th in Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York and grew up in Tucson, Arizona where his family relocated to and launched a chain of small New York Style Deli and restaurants. While he spent time developing his first love for performing music as a singer in school and church, Sal was ultimately led to work on his second love which was in the world of broadcasting. 1995 was the beginning of an almost 11 year career as an On-Air Personality at multiple radio stations around the South-West until he finally landed back in Arizona in 2004. In Phoenix is where he finished out his time in radio. The next two years would prove to be some of the hardest years of his life as he battled with alcohol abuse and a high-conflict custody case after his first marriage resulted in divorce in late 2005. On October 1, 2006, the day after his 33rd birthday, and an evening that left him wanting more than the life he was creating, Sal would begin his walk in sobriety and the daily battle to begin cleaning up the wreckage he had caused in those quick passing years. 2006 left Sal feeling lost as he struggled for the next 2 years to find any stable work that lined up with his talents. At different points in that two year period, Sal worked in fast-food restaurants and supermarket delis, sold cars for three months - twice, refurbished helicopters and helped a friend open an Italian restaurant. It was after his second attempt at car sales (which solidified his suspicion that he might not be very good at it) that Sal found some stability working as a technical support representative in the call center business. In 2008, Sal began a successful 6 year relationship with one of the biggest telecommunications companies as a contractor and would then move to work for the largest electronics and communications company on the planet in 2014. Now, at 42, and many years since he first fell in love with music, and after working through many of the mistakes in life and everything that goes with it. Sal has written, recorded and produced his first record. An 8 song EP that will be available through online outlets everywhere. Currently residing in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife Amanda, Sal calls his two children "the most amazing people on the planet!" A note from Sal: Hello my friend!
