* Traditional Songwriting * 1 Songwriter * Original songs dating back to late 70's Story was formed in 2007 and went on to perform all original songs at local Melbourne venues. After a short break they reformed to anticipate live performances from late 2009. Recent performances include support roles for The Angels, The Black Sorrows and main support for Colin Hay (Men At Work). Story is now a concept with various musicians on board showcasing different stories. All songs are written by one songwriter Daryl Storrie. Guest Musicians Bob Spencer (The Angels/Skyhooks) , Mick Pealing (Stars) , Irwin Thomas (Jack Jones) (Southern Sons), Andrew Wishart (X Factor 2011), Billy McMartin, Mark Ritchie & David Briggs (LRB) contributed to Story's first E.P 'Damnation Dawning' released July 1, 2013. February 27, 2015 saw the release of Story's second E.P "Storm Child". The E.P introduced Guest Musicians Eddie Parise (Baby Animals - Early 90's period) & Anthony Pell, with the return of Bob Spencer & Mark Ritchie. Contributing to production: Billy McMartin & David Briggs. 2016 introduced Guest Musicians: Stuart Fraser & Steve Balbi (Noiseworks), Neil Anthony & Brian Fisher contributing to new studio recordings. Additional guests will be announced when confirmed. Two audio samplers "Mystery Baby" & "Story" were released as teasers to promote Story's debut album "Total Strangers". 2017 confirms the release of "Total Strangers". Scheduled date: February 10.
