Alosibla’s new project for Salsa.it I is packed with a lot of new ideas. Two beautiful pieces and an OUVERTURE are Fito Gress’ first official publications: SOLO POR TI, a fresh, modern salsa which opens the compilation, and HAY AMOR, a fantastic pop Bachata which could well be a big hit in 2007. The other three bachatas included in the compilation are: EGOISTA by the group Latin Groove, well-known to Latin audiences for the celebrated Baila Campeon and Nada Serà Lo Mismo; …..an impeccable interpretation by Venezuelan singer-songwriter Oliver of DEJALO accompanied by the irreplaceable conductor, Andrea Pollione, a piece which is guaranteed to be a success. Mojito Project are also present again on this occasion, featuring Johnny Hernandez with the brand new single TU CALOR, in a special version for per Salsa.it. Pop Bachata for this edition of Salsa.it Compilation by Raul DJ & Eurocuban Project with MUSA – with a noticeable change of atmosphere as a result of new artistic collaborations – architects of this evolution are writers Antonio Mastrulli and Marco Ferretti. ...and the last bachata is also by Marco Ferretti, entitled QUIERO ENAMORARTE and featuring Glenis who puts her undisputed artistic talent on show. We could not do without Mezcla Latina, who give us QUE CHEVERE, a really distinctive cha cha, as well as QUIERO SALSA, two pieces which highlight their unmistakable great musical style. Massimo Scalici and his Orchestra Sicula Sabrosa make an appearance with two special surprises. A very particular DESCARGA TRòPICAL duetted with the well-known dancer Fernando Sosa (Tròpical Gem) and as a Special Track, a new version of ES LA MUSICA with an all-new arrangement and co-interpreted by the unmistakable voice of Fito Gress. Once again there is no lack of more traditional salsa - Performed by the Sol Del Caribe orchestra we have MALA REPUTACION, written and arranged by Fabio Gianni and Adrian Cisnero, and from Latin Soul Orchestra, conducted by Alessandro Bertozzi and enhanced by Francisco Rojos’ artistic direction, we have BANDIDO, a small taste of an ambitious recording project which is due to come out in Spring 2007. SALSEANDO is an exciting salsa with a driving rhythm which bears the stamp of popular deejay, Silvio Sisto, the hand behind previous successful remixes, in formation with the energetic, creative band Cuban Boys. A lot of credit must go to conductor Tony Velardi (ex Eurocuban Project) present on the compilation with two numbers – a remix of YOU DON’T, and CANALLA together with the scintillating Calle 39 giving us an innovative mix between Salsa, Boogaloo and Reggaeton. Raza Latina give a great performance of PA’ LANTE MI RAZA, composed and arranged by band leader Pepe Espino, in collaboration for the first time with the great Cuban musician, Jesus Alejandro Perez. On percussion we find special guest Gregory Moya, direct from Venezuela. Great prominence is given to the young Cuban singer, Tico, alongside vetran Oscarito Maleta, the band’s vocal soloist.
