The instrumental, Summer Games, was created as soundtrack music for the video documenting the Special Olympics Illinois 2015 Summer Games and Torch Run, which took place in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. As a composer, the creation of this music was especially rewarding. For me, the visuals of these brave and courageous competitors inspired the composition “Summer Games” from the very first look. The determination of these special athletes was one of the most amazing feats of bravery and courage that I’ve ever witnessed.
