'Shoreline' was written as a dedication to the families of the Gulf coast impacted by the 2010 oil spill. The composers, Chris Davio (Miami, Fl) and Matt Watroba (Ann Arbor, MI) are lifelong friends and write songs for country music performers and recording artists. 'Shoreline' captures the resilience of folks living along the gulf coast through a main character who makes his living as a fisherman. It projects beautiful images of life along the 'Shoreline' combined with music meant to imitate the quiet, powerful momentum of a shrimp boat making way through the surf. Davio and Watroba are pleased to present lead vocalist Ron Shumate of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who brings a warm southern tone to the song. The basic tracks were recorded in Miami Fl (Redlands Studios) and the lead vocal in Baton Rouge, Louisiana during July, 2010.
