"Fan the Flame" is Senator Scott Brown's first attempt at song writing. He came up with the idea while he was running, and stopped to put some notes in his phone. When he got back to the house he wrote lyrics down. With the help of his daughter, country music artist Ayla Brown, they brought the song to life. It was recorded at Berrytown Studios by Gus Berry in Nashville, TN. The lead vocals are by Tom Whall and background vocals are by Ayla Brown.
