Friends words cannot explain about these songs on my new CD I`M Glad, Please read some Review, First song," He Didn't Die." HEAVENLY GROOVE REVIEW... First, let me say I love the rhythm and the funky groove! This song has a joyful, happy, fun sound from the beginning and the drums/bass are so nice. The words and the vocals are a good marriage, and pleasing to the ears. Letting the listener know that Jesus died for them, for everyone is a powerful message... The song could perhaps benefit by having a classical guitar in the mix, and a nice "solo"/interlude would make this song even sweeter than it is... My overall reaction to this song is "thumb's up". I would like to hear more of the song in it's entirety. This song is a great gospel song for all people regardless of their musical tastes... It makes me want to dance before the Lord! Keep up the great work. Michael D'Aigle Reviewed by MICHAEL D'AIGLE Beginner on Sep 13 United States, Michigan, Flushing. Caribbean Feel Brings a Sweet Take On Gospel The sweet and rich voice of singer Minister Tommy brings a very nice Gospel song with the theme of Christ's sacrifice for all of us. "He didn't die for me alone... He died for you and me..." says it all. This is light and uplifting as well as very listenable. The worst thing I can say about this track is that it's just too short. As the titles says, this is a clip of the song and I do wish I could hear the song in it's entirety. The artist's voice has been deliberately auto-tuned- as we have heard from so many artists ranging from Cher to T-Pain. It seems to work fine here. But really the voice of the artist is sweet and in my humble opinion, would do even better without any studio frosting. I enjoyed this track and look forward to hearing more from this talented artist. Okay, from jump the sounds is 1st class, especially the drum/bass rhythm section... nice, very solid and appropriate! The vocals come in sweet and are just a little thin, but as the song progresses everything gels nicely. Good hook line, and came in right on time. You have an incredible voice, and the arrangement is very original/creative, reminds me of the WINANS. Overall, a great jam from top to bottom. The idea of following God being the "Road to Success" is a new twist on an idea that's been around for centuries. That title alone is at the top of your game!! Great song. I am going out on a limb here to say Minister Tommy is one the five best Christian Reggae Musicians I have ever heard. This song a "Success" (every pun is intended). I know this genre more than non-Caribbean natives because I have listened to its ascent from obscurity to the greatness it now enjoys worldwide. My only problem with Minister Tommy's songs is his insistence on only posting short clips for sampling. That makes it hard to truly appreciate the dynamic nuances of the songs. Plus as Christian musicians what we do is we package the Gospel in an art format that others who won't walk through the door of a church or watch a televangelist on TV can digest and receive. The dissemination of the message is foremost, and the commercial profit secondary.
