I love Boy & Bear, and I had the pleasure of being at this gig at the iTunes store. Their music is amazing, and I love that it now exists as an acoustic album, stripped back so you can really just enjoy the guys incredible music talents and the Dave Hosking’s voice. However I wish that more of the commentary by the band had been left in – that’s what makes it a live album. There was a classic moment in the middle of Rabbit Song where Dave H forgot the words, and what followed was some hilarious banter between the band members all the while playing this looping bridge before Dave picked the lyrics back up… I wanted to download this album just for that moment but its not on here… shame…
