Lauren Mascitti is a dynamic 18 year old multi-talented singer/songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and mandolin player from Ohio who believes that God expects us to use our talents for Him and to further His Kingdom. She has sung at many Branson theaters such as the Hamner Barber Theater, Mansion America, Tri Lakes, Mo Bandy Theater, the Americana, the White House Theater, and at the Radisson Hotel. Lauren also lived in Branson for three months while doing “Southern Gospel Sundays” and “A Christmas Celebration” with Gary McSpadden at the Americana Theater. She has studied under the vocal genius of Nashville, Brett Manning, and the very beautiful and talented Jana King Evans of Branson, Missouri. Lauren was also blessed to be in the top 8 Inspiration Network’s Christian Artist Talent Search, or C.A.T.S contest, for 2008. In February, 2009, she was a runner-up in the Miss Italia USA pageant held at the Landerhaven in Cleveland, OH. This year, Lauren spent most of the summer in Nashville doing songwriter showcases, working on a new album with mostly original material, and writing. Her new album "Thought I'd Get a Love Song" was released in January of 2010 and was produced by Jana King Evans, Buddy Mullins, Pam Tillis, and Adam Kohout. She is also proud to be a performer in the "Dean Martin Fest" with Dean's daughter, Deana Martin. Now, Lauren is excited and blessed to be the Colgate Country Showdown 2009 winner for the State of Ohio.
