Laruso (Daniel Taylor Murdock) is a Philadelphia Native, currently living in South Jersey. With a background in vocal music and theatre, Dan attended American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York City and has spent the last 4 years as a recording artist at BWE Studios in Cherry Hill. Roots in the theatre prompted an interest in spoken word and Rap, reflected in his first EP, Jersey Fresh Mix Tape, and adding Popular Instruments in his second venture, Dirty Rotten Bastards. Laruso’s musical voice developed into Pop/Dance with the Album Taylor Wild, with dance beats and club sounds in songs such as Famous and Electrify (The Dance Floor). The New Album, Fires of Liberty (Jan. 2014), reflects a strong, spiritual connection to music, lyrics and rhythm; featuring the songs Bring The Love In, Rock Star and Alignment. Lending themselves to a particular brand of storytelling, Laruso specializes in writing songs for video and his projects can be seen @ BWEStudios Tube; and, the songs, Get Your Body and Disguise, were featured in the Season 4 Premier of the Philadelphia Web Series SECRETS.
