The core of this record are six original compositions, some of which are preceded by free improvisations: a manifestation of our mutual love for both straight-ahead and avant-garde playing.

The aim of the improvised pieces is to act as a 'glue' between the composed ones, creating a sense of continuity and thusly enhancing the listening experience.

We wanted to create the illusion of a musical trip for the people listening to this record, a trip we ourselves experienced while touring/composing/recording for this album.
