Two gifted sisters, Nesha Thompson, “Sassy” and Shalese Thompson, “Classy” began praising God through creative dance as young girls. Their ministry now serves as a ministry dedicated to praising God in its highest form. They began by simply participating n dance classes at Gail Humphries School of Dance in Columbus Georgia. It was there that they realized that dancing was a part of whom God made them. The door was opened for them to fully express themselves through creative dancing at Redeemed Full gospel church where they converted their dance training into praise dancing and became known as the Highest Praise Dancers. They are now active members of Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral, which is Pastored and founded by Bishop Dale C. Bronner. FAVA, Faithful Appointed Victorious & Anointed (also known as The Highest Praise Dancers), is a Hip Hop Gospel Rap/singing group. The group has released their first single called “Do What U Do Folk”. They believe that their music along with their dancing will be a blessing to anyone who is open to the heart and the voice of God. The group is strongly anointed by God, and because of their solid church background, their love for dancing and singing, their diligence, and most of all their desire to please God, their ministry has grown tremendously. With their commitment to engagements, they keep their focus on God and attend their home church regularly. They are role models among their peers in their church, schools, and community. They have ministered internation as well to include Italy and Jamaica. These two anointed sisters have blessed audiences at numerous churches, festivals, special event, weddings, family reunions, and professional dramas by using their gifts to express their love for God. They have performed at The Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards, The Gospel Heritage Foundation Conference, Turner Field Atlanta Georgia Hosea Feed the Hungry, LCMS Lutheran Church Youth Conference (Orlando Florida), Perfected Faith Church Holy Convocation (Pastor Donnie McClurkin), Word of Faith Family Worship Center (Bishop Dale C. Bronner), New Birth Missionary Baptist Church (Bishop Eddie Long), Georgia International Convention Center Atlanta Georgia, Unite to Ignite Unity Conference, Clayton County Performing Arts Center, Jonesboro Georgia, Expecting the Unexpected Production; 14th Street Play House Atlanta Georgia, The Lost Generation Production, Clark University Black History program, and so many others. In Praising God through their creative gifts, these two young sisters hope to bring their peers into the light of God. With their anti-drug message “THE BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT” (I Corinthians 6:19), they instill self-love, positive motivation, keeping the mind clear, and that sin destroys the body, which IS the temple of God. Trials and Triumphs have allowed them to continue to mature personally and professionally through their testimony. They live by the motto “The Holy Spirit that lives in me also lives in you”.
