Fading Away is an collection of songs written over a 7-year period. It was compiled to show the diversity of the writing and playing style of David Whitt. Involved with the album are a host of personal friends who appear as guest singers and musicians. Although recorded digitally, each song take was actually performed without the use of digital manipulation for correction. The album cuts are meant to evoke emotion (sadness and humor) to a retro sound spanning the last 50-years.
