Jeremy Haffner and Stephen Cohen, the two founding members of Oedipus, have been together, actively writing and performing, since 1994. The two, then 13 year old, hockey teammates had been together since the age of six, playing AAA hockey and traveling North America together, which continued until the age of 19. Now 23 years of age, the two Native Angelinos, children of industry families on both sides, have taken a large step towards defining their professional musical presence with the release of their first full-length album titled "Humbility." In 2002 Oedipus became a fixture at the Downtown Los Angeles venue HANGAR1018, where they began to mix their music with the work of a diverse pool of Los Angeles visual artists. Oedipus' first release, the "Oedipus 2000 EP" had three songs placed in Films. Already the "Humbility" album has placed two songs with film. Oedipus is looking forward to progressing with their art and spreading it as widely and as strongly as possible.
