Betty Overstreet is a vocalist who loves the Classic Country sound and her original music tends to focus on that type sound. She dreamed of being a Country singer throughout her youth as she listened to the great singers of the 50s-60s. she married very young, started raising kids before she was old enough to Vote ( or drink beer!) and had to wait until she divorced her childrens dad before she could finally venture out into the world of music. A trip to nashville in 1988 gave her a little taste of fame as she recorded "Let the sandman wait" in the studio with producer Vern Pratte then watched it climb up the Cashbox charts into the top 100 singles! AS time past she turned her life toward God and began singing and writing Christian songs, however, once again she has released a Country song that is somewhat a story of her life....
