The Organ Grinder’s Monkey is a crowd-funded, crowd-chosen album made to help fund Meursault’s trip to the States this year, for an East Coast tour. Everyone who contributed to the band’s Kickstarter campaign was invited to vote for five songs – Meursault songs or covers – with the most popular making it onto the album. We started recording on February 1st, mixed it between 10th-13th, mastered on the 14th, we’ve spent between 16th-19th printing the posters and album sleeves, folded and packed on the 20th and the 21st was the first launch night.
