Ready Mix Records proudly presents "Elextra" aka Cosmic JD & Lulo, based in Toronto from Colombian decent. The pair have created an unrivaled retro-futuristic sound that can activate any dance floor. Elextra originated in Brooklyn NY in 2008, when Lulo and Automatik (another New York based musician) explored new frontiers of eclectic and nostalgic urban rhythms. From dub to breaks and reggae, the two musicians were able to collectively breathe life into a contemporary sound. Enter Cosmic JD, with his electronic and dance floor oriented method that included fusions of deep house and downtempo. The three musicians combined their unique approaches to music to create a truly exceptional harmony. Elextra was born. The manifestation that grew out of this collaboration found the group submerged in the underground music and art scene in New York. They present us with a 3 track EP entitled "After The Storm" that truly captures their mastery in the studio as both, great producers and excellent song writers.
