"Legacy" is the culmination of the growth and wisdom Diligent has gained through the years. Well known as a Freestyle Battle Rapper from Atlanta GA, Diligent has proven himself on several platforms. From being the Freestyle Champion on Atlanta's Hot 107.9 FM for 10 weeks, to appearing on BET 106 & Park's Freestyle Friday, to winning battles in the "Grind Time Now" and "Spit Dat Heat" Battle Leagues, Diligent has stepped up to the challenge each step of the way. In 2016 Diligent stepped away from the Battle Ring to deliver "Legacy" as a dedication to his Father, The Late Fred Prewitt, and an inspiration for his children C.J. and Angel. This project features fellow Black Box Emcees FACE The Truth, SK The K.I.D. and Plex Long as well as Anon The Griot of Divine Suns. Melodic hooks were provided by Real and Kenny Brazil, while the production was handled by Dan Johns ("Black Box Concerto"), Dr. G ("The Prescription"), Charlie P ("Fresh Perspective", "In The Middle" and "Legacy") and Billy Northam ("Fred Prewitt Forever" Intro). Videos directed by Dan Hunter of Yellow Trigger Films for the first 3 singles "The Prescription", "Fresh Perspective" and the Title Track "Legacy" can be fund on youtube.
