Born in Rome on September the 6th, Braconi majored in Piano at Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, under the guidance of Raffaella D'Esposito. He was graduated with top honors, and also recived the "Marchi" Prize as the leading honors student of the year. Subsequently, Braconi studied Chamber Music under Riccardo Bregnola at the Chigiana Musical Academy in Siena and he then studied Chamber music at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, graduating once with the highest honors. He enrolled in the Master Class in Piano at the Rimsky-Korsakov Music conservatory i S.Petersburg, studying under Oleg Malov, the Director of the Graduate Piano Faculty. He is enrolled in the Graduate Course in the Art, Music and Performance disciplines (DAMS) at Bologna University. Braconi has recived awards at a number of different piano Competiotions, such as the A.M.A., Calabria, City of Messina, Camillo Milano di Savona, and so forth. He has given recitals under the auspicies of Agimus, Panartis, the Academy of Contemporary Music, A.R.A.M., the Tempietto di Roma, the Casinò Sociale di Salerno, the Rome Opera, etc. He has performed as soloist in concerts with the leading foreign orchestras, namely: The Saint Petersburg Philarmonic Orchestra, conducted by Alexander Titov; The Bacau Symphony Orchestra (Romania), conducted by Ovidio Balan; The Saint Petersburg State Orchestra, conducted by Ravil Martynov; The Karakanda Philarmonic Orchestra (Kazakistan), conducted by Peter Gribanov; The Rostov-on-the-Don Philarmonic Orchestra, conducted by Ravil Martynov; The Ordea State Philarmonic Orchestra (Romania), conducted by L. Acocella. In addition to this appearences as soloist, Braconi has performed with a number of different chamber groups. He recently recorded a recital as a member of a quartet at the auditorium of the RAI, the Italian Radio and televiosion network, a recital that was transmitted on the RAI's First Channel. Braconi frequently performs with the RAI Symphony Orchestra in Rome, and with the Santa Cecilia Conservatory Orchestra, and he has appeared as a soloist with the latter orchestra as well.
