They call me 'E' Born in East Los Angeles, my father left when I was a few months old. Me and my mother bounced back and forth with family that lived in ruff neighborhoods like South Central and East LA. My role-models were wife beaters, gangsters, killers, and even drug dealers. Quickly I learned to pick up the trade of gang banging and by my late teens I was a menace, a ruthless suicidal individual full of rage. I don't have to tell you the consequences of those bad choices I made, In and out of prison, been shot, been stabbed, I did this and I did that, earning my stripes with scars and lost time. I became the shot caller in my hood by the age of 24, by then i had mastered the art of being a gangster. I no longer had to dirty my hands no more, I had an army of gangsters personally being trained by me ready to jump if I said jump. But I decided to turn my life around in my late 20's when I got out of prison and seen what it put my wife and 3 young kids through. I started working and saved money and started my own company in the dump truck business. With in the first six months my business blossomed and soon after I became wealthy and power full by working hard and legit. I even started hiring my homeboys getting them of the streets, getting them cleaned up of drugs and sober. I was giving them the example of work hard for your money and succeed, I moved into a four bedroom house in a expensive neighborhood, I had 2 dump trucks a nice luxury car. I was living the so called American Dream, but just like that in an instant a police agency out here in LA thought that I was a Drug Lord or a Mafia member or something of that nature, since I fit the description they started investigating me for months, harassing me, raiding my house thinking they would find something but they never did. Finally when they realized I was legit they started looking into my dump truck business and they through the book at me with California health code violations. They arrested me and charged me with 6 bogus felonies for caring a couple of gallons of paint thinner with out the proper hazardous licence!!!! Long story short my prison priors came up in court and I couldn't get away from having to do prison time! The judge and the D.A. only seen a known gang member and my criminal past. I lost my home my business my trucks because they sentence me to 2 years, plus they had the nerve to send me to Pelican Bay, the most notorious prison in California!!! So u can Imaging how I was feeling while I was one thousand miles away from my home town in a super max prison doing a 2 year term because I decided to pick up a few gallons of paint thinner!! I decided to write a book while incarcerated about mi life experiences growing up, gang banging and the injustice. When I paroled in 2011 I ran into my homeboy that raps and he invited me to one of his shows in riverside and I agreed to go. Once he went up on stage he invited me to go up there with him and I did. The crowds energy hyped me up and I got hooked on it. I asked my boy to take me to the recording studio with him. I took my book that I wrote in prison and converted it into song lyrics and went to the studio and started busting like if I had done it all my life, on that day I decide to start a Rapping Group Insane Ways, I recruited 3 of my homeboys (Te Tumbo)-(Wicked)-(Pops) Six months later another homeboy of mine jumped on the Insane Ways wagon (Snipes) is his name, he is a marine and a business owner now but also grew up in East LA in the gang culture until he became a U.S. marine. While in tour in the Iraq war he also wrote a lot of poetry and lyrics. He brought genius concepts ideas for songs in this album. Together we have created some extraordinary songs, we are a perfect balanced team. He invested not only a lot of his money, but a lot of his time with a passion. It only took us a little over a year to complete this album, not bad for beginners. I promise you will not regret it if you purchase our album, I'm sure you will appreciate it.
