The fourth song in Alright Alright’s year-long project to release a song a month, Black Sheep takes inspiration from some old folk lyrics and delves deep into the exploration of the neoclassical sound presented by a neo-folk band.

Black Sheep was an old lullaby which served as a cautionary tale for young listeners to be mindful of the tasks one has been given. A good reminder for us to keep track of the musical “baby” we have been given, and not abandon it in its time of need. In my opinion, a lullaby like this does not a good sleep make!
