"381 Sessions" was recorded in John's apartment, 381 Park Place, Brooklyn NY, in 2007. The first four tracks are originals. The fifth track is McGrew's composition of Mary Zimmerman's poem 'Kingfisher' from her award winning play, "Metamorphoses". McGrew's 'Kingfisher' was originally performed by Ridgwood High School's (NJ) theatre department.
