简介
Grounded in Love is the debut album by Małgorzata Hutek, which the artist created by assembling her recent musical experience. She talks of this experience with the sounds of acoustic jazz, geared to improvisation and intertwined with elements of world music, groove and experiment. Małgorzata Hutek’s original compositions written to texts by Czesław Miłosz, Agnieszka Musiał, Aleksandra Mazur and the artist’s own impressions skilfully combine the individualism of the performing musicians, at the same time emphasising their virtuosity. The album is a musical question about love and freedom, and a search for the truth about man. Musicians involved in the creation of the Grounded in Love project include Nikola Kołodziejczyk (piano), Michał Kapczuk (double bass), Grzegorz Masłowski (drums) and, performing as a guest, Jakub Raczyński (bass clarinet). The artist on the album: The album is a result of my journey in search of the truth about love, people and about myself. It is an attempt to become deeply rooted in true Love. To a great extent, “Grounded in Love” is also a record of my musical quest. I think that the poetic eclecticism of its compositions fully expresses my personality, curiosity about the world and desire to live every moment. I am very pleased that working on the album strengthened my conviction that what is worth writing, singing and creating about is the beauty of the world that we live in. Małgorzata Hutek
