Tomas Höglund is a singer and songwriter, born 1973 in Pietarsaari, Western Finland. He is also a music teacher and a song coach. Tomas became known to a greater audience for his soulful voice and great interpretations in 2013, as he reached the semifinals in Voice of Finland. Tomas has a broad experience as a solo singer from singing everything from gospel, blues, jazz and soul to more contemporary pop and rock music with some of the best musicians, bands and choirs in Finland on various record projects and concerts. Tomas also has a long career as a background singer in many TV-productions and live performances in Finland and abroad. For instance, in 2005 he was a member of the choir in the team representing Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, Ukraine. He has also been the director of the Finnish gospel choir, His Master’s Noise, as well as a member of the ensemble of Les Misérables at Helsinki City Theatre. Now in 2014, Tomas Höglund is releasing his own soul and pop influenced record, reflecting life, love and faith.
