John Vass has been writing and performing music all his life. From garage bands, to large concert venues, to performing with his daughter Mazie, he has covered it all. Back in the 70's John performed with the band Brussel Sprout. "My Hometown" is actually a reunion of John with Tom Treece, Roger Manning, and Ken Lush, all former Brussel Sprout members. John was thrilled with Brad Boltz's wonderful lyrics and played a major role in crafting the music and capturing its down home essence. John's wife Terry sings harmony vocals.
