Spin the Twine is a guitar and harmony-rich three-song EP to re-introduce Arlo Aldo to their existing fans while welcoming new ones. The EP features the band’s popular version of the Americana classic, “You Are My Sunshine,” as well as two new songs, “House & Home,” and “Sleep.” These songs feature lilting harmonies reminiscent of classic groups like The Carter Family, mixed with the instrumentation of modern acts like Magnolia Electric Co. and Low.

Arlo Aldo’s Spin the Twine has a more solidified and succinct musical sound that still captures the grittiness of Pittsburgh’s cityscape and the lonesomeness of the surrounding countryside. This album is a welcome soundtrack for the changing seasons ahead.
