简介
We hope you enjoy listening as much as we have enjoyed arranging and playing this great music. Trio con Brio® is based in Seattle and provides "Violins in the Streets" on sunny days in the sidewalks alongside the world's first Starbucks at Pike Place Market (gratuities accepted). We also play live music for weddings, parties, wine bars, church services, and other such things. This CD was recorded in 1992 and is a collection of favorites from our large and ever expanding repertoire which includes arrangements of classical, baroque, romantic, pop, show tunes, and jazz standards. Matthew Weiss and Jeff Yang are the violinists and Joseph Bichsel is our cellist on this album. Since then, Jeff skipped town and moved to Chicago and now tours with Mannheim Steamroller. These days, Tyler Reilly is our new guy along with Joe and Matt. Matt and Jeff trade off playing the first or second parts, but Matt is always on the right channel and Jeff on the left. We mastered this on an analog reel-to-reel recorder and later transferred it to digital after EQing it and adding some reverb. All the tracks are complete takes without any splices, punch-ins, and that sort of thing so occassionally you may encounter a few imperfections, but the music is definitely there for those who have an appreciation for our kind of "Violins in the Streets"!
