简介
Too often in today's country music, artists sing about experiences they've never had, selling a lifestyle they've neither lived, nor experienced. That is not the case with Brad Anderson. He has lived what he sings about. When you hear him, you know exactly who he is and why he's destined to become a legend. Born and raised in Blackshear, Georgia, Brad's childhood was steeped in gospel music, which played regularly on the turntable in the Anderson home. His first introduction to performing was at age five, singing in church. At seven years old, Brad began playing guitar. Although gospel was what he was raised on, the harmonies of bands like Shenandoah, Diamond Rio and Restless Heart, as well as the songwriting styles of Don Williams and Waylon Jennings, cemented his love for country music. It was country music in the 90's which gave Brad his inspiration to write and still remains his favorite decade in that genre. Sometimes, interesting jobs make interesting songs. This is true for Brad, who has worked as a prison guard and auto mechanic to make ends meet. As the years went by, he realized that the only place he could go to have a shot at pursuing country music was Nashville. So, in January of 2006, he packed up and moved to Nashville to learn the ropes. It worked because ever since then, Brad has opened for or shared the stage with artists such as Rascal Flatts, Craig Campbell, Billy Dean and Lee Brice. He also had a cut on Russell Hitchcock's (Air Supply) album, "The Nashville Sessions". Brad can be seen and heard performing weekly at The Second Fiddle, The Wheel and Full Moon Saloon. You can also catch him every Saturday night at The Fiddle and Steel country music bar in Printer's Alley. In June of 2012, Stray Star Music, an independent publishing company and record label, released "Brad Anderson"- his debut album. Seven of the ten songs on the CD, Brad had either written or co-written. The songs portray a range of life's experiences describing love, loss, living and the "Southern way" of having a good time. One critic stated, "Brad Anderson's self titled release is a sure fire hit with songs that will make you sing along. Anderson's strong, soulful voice and genuine Southern style make this CD a heartfelt, fun and introspective look at life from the toe-tapping "Flip Flop Friday Night", to the poignant "Any Given Sunday". Every song tells a story. There are no fillers on this impressive debut album by Brad Anderson. One listen and you'll be hooked." The future for Brad Anderson is limitless. With his charismatic stage presence, unmistakable vocal style and newly released album, Brad is ready to take his place amongst today's top country artists. Discover for yourself and you'll agree; he is the real deal.
