简介
The Woodchuckers are a high energy Oldtime String Band from Northwest North Carolina. Their debut album, "Sweet Milk and Peaches", portraits a snapshot of a vibrant tradition still alive and well. Fiddler Bryan Gallimore backed by Rick Davidson on guitar, Ben Riesser on banjo, and Joanne Davidson on bass, lay down 16 tracks of solid, tight, in-the-pocket tunes in the spirit of the area bands that proceeded and inspired them, and at the same time with a sound that is their own. Bryan’s vocals are delivered with an authenticity that feels as real as the tunes that provide an enduring backdrop. The music and its groove have the ability to fill your being with a vital piece of Americana that will make you want to move.
