"Alive" is a collection of R&B songs that tell stories of everyday life experiences. "Alive" features songs that illustrate the pain of heartbreak, express the bliss of love, and even features a song that shows appreciation for nature. The overarching theme of "Life" is one that is universal, which is why it was chosen to outline this album. Joriah Kwame took the original sound of R&B and pushed it to date so that it would connect with more people, and that is apparent in the music that is featured on his debut album, "Alive".
