Babb's approach to song writing is as intellectual as it is emotional, and very effective. 'Beyond The Bone Orchard', the debut release, produces catchy melodies that reflect on the transitory nature of modern culture. Most of the album is very stripped down, but an arsenal of instrumentation is summoned occasionally, adding just the right intensity.
