The New Aluminists are Timmy Stewart and Glenn McCartney and they started their glittering career by DJing for David Holmes at his Exploding Plastic parties in around Belfast and began a residency at Holmes' Shake ya Brain, where they played records with DJs such as Andrew Weatherall and Darren Emmerson. This mirrors that sound.
