简介

Artist biography: Born and raised in Manhattan, Ronnie D'Addario started playing guitar at the age of ten. He began singing and playing, including bass guitar, professionally in his early twenties. He grew up listening to 1960s pop music. Ronnie played guitar with Tommy Makem, of The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem fame, for two decades, in concert, recordings, TV shows, and the stage. Ronnie's credits include an appearance on the Rosie O'Donnell Show, TV commercial jingles, and six PBS shows with Tommy Makem (where he performed with Judy Collins and Eric Weissberg of "Dueling Banjos" fame). He has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Guinness Fleadh at Randall's Island, Lisner Auditorium, Wash. DC, and Mechanic's Hall, Worcester, MA. Ronnie also produced the album, "Live At the Irish Pavilion," a favorite among Makem fans, and has produced several other artists, including Morning Star, Mary O'Dowd, Danny Quinn, and The Irish Mist. His song, "Falling for Love," was recorded by The Carpenters in 1981. Ronnie lives in New York, with his wife, Susan, a neuropsychologist and stage mom, and two sons, Brian, now eightteen, and Michael, now sixteen. Brian played "Flounder" in "The Little Mermaid" on Broadway and is featured singing the lead vocal on "She's in Love" on the original cast album. He also played "Gavroche" in the Broadway revival of "Les Miserable." Michael played the role of "Bert" in "All My Sons" on Broadway, which starred Katie Holmes, Dianne Wiest, John Lithgow, and Patrick Wilson. Michael also played "Charles Adams" in the HBO mini series, "John Adams," starring Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney. He plays a major role in the movie, "People Like Us" starring Chris Pine, Elizabeth Banks, Olivia Wilde, and Michelle Pfeiffer. He is also in the Ethan Hawke movie, "Sinister". Check him out in the TBS TV sitcom "Are We There Yet." Brian and Michael have their own original rock band called, "The Lemon Twigs". Ronnie still plays in the classic rock band, "The Rock Club." He is currently working on a brand new album entitled, "The Walking Wounded." His latest album is, "A Very Short Dream."
