简介
Big Mosey commands a collection of unhinged emotions, surreal stories, and exposed moments, sparked by songwriters Matt Jacob and Evan Hammer. This Brooklyn rock band’s dirty grooving tunes nod to southern influences like Kings of Leon and grunge groups like Pearl Jam, yet ache and growl in the vein of Howlin' Wolf or Tom Waits – delirious and victorious. With magnetic performances at some of New York's premiere festivals (Figment, Utica Music & Arts Festival, Make Music New York, NYC Marathon), and venues from New York City (Arlene's Grocery) to Boston (The Cantab Lounge, Wadzilla Mansion), Big Mosey has developed a raucous live show, which they have channeled into their debut EP, Homeward At Daybreak, co-produced with Jeremy Sklarsky (Freelance Whales). Big Mosey’s quaking music roars and undulates triumphantly, offering release and solidarity in a concrete-filled city. Their industrial-woodsy sound is defined by thunderous singing, rugged guitar textures, melodic bass contours, and tenacious rhythms. Driven by their devotion to share experiences, the band has quickly electrified a fan base eager to take that long march through the backwoods of the city to claim community. -- Produced by Big Mosey & Jeremy Sklarsky Lead Vocals: Matt Jacob Guitars: Tom Grise, Matt Jacob Bass: Evan Hammer Drums: David Bucci Harmonies: Tom Grise & Co Mixed & Engineered by Jeremy Sklarsky at Threshold Studio Mastered by Fred Kevorkian
