Antonio Carlos Jobim was the most important Brazilian songwriter. He was a primary force behind the creation of bossa nova style, and his songs have been performed by many singers and musicians within Brazil and internationally. Widely known as the composer of “Girl from Ipanema”, one of the most recorded songs of all time, Jobim has left a large number of songs that are included in jazz and pop repertoire. The Brazilian singer Fernanda Cunha released an album entitled “JOBIM 90” celebrating Jobim's 90th birthday. She sings 10 songs written by him (music and lyrics ) : “waters of march”, “chovendo na roseira”, “ samba do avião”, “triste”, “vivo sonhando”, “fotografia”, and other less known like “Angela”, “Ana Luiza”, “Passarim”, and “two kites” Fernanda is accompanied by a "dream team" of musicians from Brazil: Ze Carlos on guitar , Camilla Dias on piano, Jorjão Carvalho on bass and Helbe Machado on drums. Reg Schwager from Toronto(guitars) and Edson Ghilardi (drums) also collaborated playing the track “two kites”.
