“Kingdom Minded” is Lydia Price’s sophomore gospel project. This follow up to her debut album “Speak The Word Only” gives the listeners a deeper look into her creativity and love for the Word. The time spent between projects allowed for growth in many areas and each track reflects that. All original songs written by Lydia make for an enjoyable experience from the first track to the last. “Owe No Man”, “Lay It Down” and “I Never Felt So Good” gives a glimpse into the artist’s personal testimony while songs like “Stir Yourself Up”, “Able Ministers”, and “Bring Your Pain” lifts up the spirit and soul. After including two of her favorite tracks “Hand Of God” and “It’s Gonna Rain” from her first CD, she continues to feel the great need to continue to teach as well as preach in her songs. You’ll find evidence of that in songs such as “Revelation”, “There’s A River Flowing” and the first release from this CD, “My Mansion”, which earned her a 2009 Billboard Honorable Mention award at the 16th annual Billboard World Song Contest. This collection of songs proves to be Lydia’s finest work, thus far. It’s spiritually designed to make you listen, think, learn, laugh, smile, dance and most of all……..draw you closer to the truth of Jesus Christ, the true Son of God.
