I have been working for several years to the study of singing and particulary of "Lied" Songs. The Lied is one of the most widespread forms in vocal chamber music and by its nature, since immemorial time it is the poetic-musical form in which words and melody are merged toghether to convey an emotion of lyrical nature. The sensitivity objective of the cantor is implemented in the most immediate. In this recording we have chosen the compositions of the twentieth century since the new expressive and technical needs, solicited by new forms of music, as the second School of Vienna, influenced the production of Lieder songs. In this collection of songs you can hear various stylistic features: romantic melodies and exciting and vivid alternate themes but equally interesting both in terms of composition and expression. Without any hesitation we tried to explore and investigate the world wide spectrum of vocal chamber music of this period.
