Christianity is under attack in our day. There is an increasing amount of antagonism towards Christianity in our society. Recent Supreme Court decisions will no doubt only add to this situation. Our beliefs are being misrepresented and misunderstood. All this marginalizes who and what we are and hinders the preaching of the Gospel. God and His word are being presented, at best, as irrelevant, and, at worst, dangerous. There is a real need for the people of God to be able to give a solid, reasoned defense for the Christian faith.

It is with this in mind that we produced the Nick Guy, Private Eye, Apologetics Series. Aided by his faithful friend and assistant Dr. DeSoto, Nick Guy has solved some very interesting cases in his career. Such as unraveling the mysterious disappearance of the body of Jesus from His tomb three days after His death. Or searching out a particular Child born in the small town of Bethlehem who some claim is the King of the Jews. Or setting out to discover what happened to a Christian-hunting Pharisee named Saul who suddenly began preaching the very things he once fought against.

The series is entertaining, funny, and thrilling as well as educational and encouraging. And not without a little danger. It is meant to entertain, but also provides tools for the average believer to be able to give a solid defense for the Christian faith in an increasingly antagonistic environment.
