The lyrics meld together well with the instruments. The lyrics are well written and send off a message about not wasting time with someone, and just going for it. Most punk-rock music, to me, is well written and catchy, capturing a lot of people's hearts. This song was no different. The song makes a person want to dance, to get up and run, do something that maybe they'll regret later, but will have fun talking about later on in life. People will enjoy hearing this song on the radio, playing it over and over again.
